When she was older she found interest in art especially pottery. In Vinnie's free time she usually
looked at pictures of sculptors in books.
While in Washington she had contact with James S. Rollins who was a US. congress man. James remembered
her desire for sculptors so he took her to see Clark Mills sculptor.
Then he asked her if she wanted to work at his studio!
She accepted and did great at his studio!
She created sculptors of prominent individuals.
Soon she made enough money to quit her job at the post office!
